Manas National Park is situated in the foothills of Bhutanese Himalaya, it is famous for its majestic Tiger and Golden Leaf Monkey discovered only a few decades ago.

Itinerary:-

DAY 1: Guwahati- Manas National Park ( Distance 195 kms / 05 hrs). Arrive at Guwahati airport, after a brief welcome you will proceed to Manas National Park.

 DAY 2: Manas National Park. The National Park was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973. It is a paradise for bird lovers, birds which can be seen here are the Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds. Evening at leisure. Night halt at Manas

 DAY 3: Manas National Park- Nameri National Park  (Distance 312 kms / 07 hrs). After breakfast at Manas you will drive to Nameri National Park. Evening at leisure beside the camp fire and listening to the jungle. Overnight at Eco- Camp (Nameri)

Nameri National Park: Covering an area of 200sq.kms, it is situated in the District of Sonitpur; the Nameri is the third National Park of Assam. It is a Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The inaccessibility and continuity with the neibouring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. There is a good prey base in the form of Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and Gaur. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for Tiger and Leopards.

DAY 4: Nameri National Park. Today early morning at about 05.30 a.m, you will set to explore the park on foot  (3.2kms ) with a guide/naturalist. Trek back to the camp. After having breakfast go for an exclusive rafting (mild rapids) trip on Jia – Bhoreli River, flowing along the National Park, for water birds. Return back to the camp. Overnight stay at Eco camp.

 DAY 5: Nameri National Park- Balipara Tea Estate (12kms/ 20mins). After breakfast, visit the Eco Task Force (10 min drive away from Eco Camp) where one can learn their efforts of forestation and presentation. After the presentation is over, drive to Balipara Tea Estate.

 DAY 6: Balipara. At Balipara, you will be staying at Wild Mahseer Tea Planters bunglow where you experience the lifestyle of a tea planter. This is a perfect place to relax and be pampered by the graceful hosts and witness the breathtaking scenery. Here you can go for a tea tasting session at the Balipara tea factory and walk through the tea fields, visit the mishing tribal village close by which is known for their handlooms, handicrafts, agriculture, local brews and cuisine, engage in cooking classes at the bungalow or go for nature hikes. Evening at leisure.

 DAY 7: Balipara- Guwahati (220kms/5 hours). After an early Breakfast, drive to Guwahati Airport for your return journey.
